Aria
Outstanding Hospitality

Recognized as a cornerstone of Atlanta’s fine dining landscape, Aria has built its reputation on polished service, warm hospitality and a dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming. The Outstanding Hospitality category honors establishments that create a true sense of care for guests and staff alike — something Aria has delivered for years.
In 2025, Aria was also a finalist in the category.
J. Trent Harris, Mujō
Best Chef: Southeast

Chef J. Trent Harris continues to elevate Atlanta’s culinary reputation through precision, discipline and leadership in the kitchen. His nomination recognizes not only technical excellence but also a commitment to building a strong, sustainable culture within the restaurant industry — values that resonate deeply across the Southeast region.
Two nominations, two very different strengths — one rooted in hospitality, the other in culinary leadership — and both reinforcing Atlanta’s place in the national conversation about great food.
For nearly four decades, the James Beard Awards have served as a benchmark for excellence in American food culture, shining a national spotlight on the chefs and restaurants shaping how we dine today. This year’s Atlanta nominees reflect a city that continues to grow in confidence and recognition — one where hospitality and craftsmanship go hand in hand.
Winners will be announced on June 15, 2026, at the ceremony in the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
