If you’re flying in or out of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, there’s plenty of places to grab a delicious meal from. 😋 And Atlanta has been ranked the #1 airport for food and drink, according to Food and Wine, so you know the food won’t disappoint. Grindhouse Killer Burgers is in Concourse T right after security if you’re craving a delicious burger made with fresh ingredients. 🍔 Paschal’s in Concourse B has classic Southern food that will put you in a food coma just in time for your flight. 🍗 Ecco is an elevated dining experience located in the Intentional Terminal. Whether you get to the airport early or you’re dealing with a long layover, there’s no shortage of delicious meals to enjoy, no matter the time of day. Riding on the Plane Train makes it easy to get to and from the many food options available.

Concourse T

Concourse T is right past the Main TSA Checkpoint, so even if your gate isn’t here, it’s an easy stop to explore before heading toward your flight.

Atlanta Stillhouse

The Asian Atlanta Stillhouse brings seasonal flavors to the table. Huli Huli chicken is Hawaiian-inspired barbecued chicken with sweet, savory and smoky flavors. The grilled garlic sirloin skewers are smothered with warm garlic butter.

Sit at the bar for a quicker bite to eat or relax at a table if you’ve got time to spare.

Grindhouse Killer Burgers

With locations throughout Atlanta, Grindhouse Killer Burgers also operates at the airport. Menu items are made entirely from scratch using premium ingredients. Cowboy Style comes with cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, crispy Vidalia onion rings and BBQ sauce. Go Dixie Style and have a burger with a pimento cheese-stuffed fried green tomato, Carolina coleslaw and chipotle ranch. Or pick your favorite toppings with the build-your-own option. Pair it with one of the eclectic beer choices or a specialty cocktail.

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza

This pizza restaurant is known for its “create your own pizza” options, meaning that you can get the perfect pizza every time. Choose from a variety of meats, cheeses and veggies. If you are on a tight deadline to make your flight, get your pizza to go in a convenient carry-out package.

Boardwalk Burgers

Located in the Concourse A food court, Boardwalk Burgers is perfect for a burger and fries fix. In fact, Boardwalk Burgers is known for its special-recipe fries, which are cooked multiple times, lightly salted and served piping hot. While you can’t go wrong with the classic fries, the chili cheese fries or funnel cake fries also are must-try sides. Come for breakfast and enjoy the pancake platter or the egg biscuit sandwich.

Low Country

Low Country provides an elevated bite in a short amount of time. The Southern cuisine features menu items such as Chef G’s crispy fried chicken, filet of salmon and baked rosemary chicken. Low Country opens at 5:30 a.m. and provides plenty of traditional Southern breakfast items. Grab your meal and sit at the tables in the food court in front of Low Country.

Cat Cora’s Kitchen

Celebrity chef Cat Cora was the first-ever female Iron Chef on Food Network’s Iron Chef America. Clearly, she knows a thing or two about good food. Breakfast options include shrimp & grits, roasted chile omelet and French toast. For dinner, try the New York strip, shepherd’s pie or seared salmon.

This is a sit-down restaurant, so plan accordingly.

Concourse B

Paschal’s

Classic Southern food is the name of the game at Paschal’s. Founded by two brothers from Georgia, Paschal’s sources fresh ingredients from local farmers markets. Fried chicken plates come with two sides and a corn muffin. You can’t go wrong with any of the sides, but the Southern mac & cheese and candied yams represent the true meaning of Southern cuisine. While you’re there, treat yourself to award-winning peach cobbler. Then, prepare to enjoy a nice, long nap on your flight.

Heads up: The line can get pretty long, but once you taste the food, you’ll understand why. The food is grab-and-go style, but there are plenty of tables around the food court.

SweetWater Last Call Bar & Grill

SweetWater Last Call Bar & Grill is where you’ll want to be if you need a beer during your time at the airport. Enjoy a glass or bottle of the SweetWater H.A.Z.Y IPA or the classic SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale. Pair it with the classic Reuben, a hamburger or Korean BBQ street tacos. Opening at 6 a.m., Last Call breakfast choices include the ATL salmon breakfast sandwich, Last Call breakfast platter and Southwestern breakfast burrito. Find the main location in Atlanta off the Atlanta Beltline’s Northeast Trail, next to a pickleball center, coffee shop and distillery.

Concourse C

El Taco

Craving some tacos but in a rush? The original El Taco has what you need — fast, grab-and-go Tex-Mex food.

El Taco opens at 6 a.m. daily; good to know if you’re at the airport early and need a bite to eat. Go for the breakfast burrito or breakfast tacos that come with your choice of chicken or beef.

Stopping by for lunch or dinner? Order the chicken quesadilla or spicy ground beef tacos.

Bantam & Biddy

This Southern diner serves fresh biscuits and gluten-free items. Entrées such as sautéed salmon filet and meatloaf come with a side of gluten-free jalapeño cornbread. A few items, like the fried chicken and cheddar waffles or banana bread waffles, are part of the Breakfast All Day menu, so even if you’re taking a red-eye flight, you can get your breakfast fix.

There are tables right in front of Bantam & Biddy to make it easy to eat your meal before your flight.

Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint

While the ambiance found at the downtown Atlanta location is tough to replicate at the airport, this location still delivers delicious Southern cuisine. Enjoy wings, fried chicken, shrimp & grits and more. The airport location does have a jukebox, perfect for enjoying some tunes while dining. If you are in town for a little bit, visit the Downtown location to enjoy this Black-owned nightclub offering topnotch dining and entertainment. A mainstay since 2011, Sweet Georgia’s pays tribute to juke joints, honky-tonks and cantinas of the past.

Duff’s Deli + Market

The Ace of Cakes is bringing a new dining spot to the Atlanta airport. Duff Deli + Market, by Duff Goldman, will feature signature made-to-order sandwiches, Jewish deli classics like Mazto Ball Soup and a Lox Platter, and even dessert options.

Concourse D

Ludacris’ Chicken & Beer

No matter the time of day, you won’t be disappointed at Ludacris’ Chicken & Beer. From the fried chicken honey butter biscuit on the breakfast menu to the fried catfish sandwich on the lunch and dinner menus, there is plenty of Southern cuisine to try here. If you’re at the airport early, start your trip off right with the Grown Up mimosa or spicy Bloody Mary.

Some of the specialty items include the blackened catfish, shrimp ‘n grits, and chicken & seafood gumbo.

Mustard Seed BBQ

This sit-down restaurant is a BBQ-lover’s dream. Nachos come with your choice of chicken, pork or brisket, and toppings including sour cream, pico, BBQ sauce and pickled jalapeños. Pig out with the one-, two- or three-meat combo with options of brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken or rib tips.

One Flew South

Johnny’s World Famous Chicken and Waffles

This restaurant was started by R&B singer Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Smith, along with rapper, actress and model Karlie Redd. Of course, the chicken and waffles are a must-try with crispy and juicy fried chicken paired with fluffy and golden waffles. Pick your desired protein, including the number of chicken tenders you want, pair it with your favorite waffle flavor, with options like buttermilk, red velvet and pecan, then add your sauce. For true chicken lovers, make it a combo and add Buffalo, BBQ or lemon pepper chicken options.

Ecco

Ecco brings seasonal ingredients and bold European flavors to your plate. This upscale dining spot is located in the F Terminal, which is the International Terminal, and it sports a gorgeous interior, perfect for enjoying a sit-down meal. Try the fried goat cheese, the chorizo pizza or the wild striped bass. Or go for the prosciutto flatbread.
