Whether it’s a late-night out or you’re in need of a quick bite for lunch, Atlanta pizza spots will always be there for you. From a thicker slice to New York style, any type of pizza you’re looking for can be found in the city.
Antico Pizza

This authentic Italian spot has been a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand three years in a row, since the start of the MICHELIN Guide in Atlanta. The wood-fired oven pizzas at Antico Pizza are made with fresh ingredients. Antico doesn’t take reservations and this place gets busy quick, so make sure to plan ahead.

Fellini’s

With multiple locations around Atlanta, it’s not hard to satisfy your yearning pizza from Fellini’s. Enjoy the Slice White with mozzarella and ricotta cheese, garlic and oregano, but done a little differently with the addition of red sauce. Note to anyone who is a big fan of garlic: This slice is for you. Go for the Sicilian slices that have a thicker crust when you’re a little hungrier.

Glide Pizza

Stop for a slice along the Beltline’s Eastside Trail at Glide Pizza, with a walk-up window and outdoor patio. There are a few seats inside if it’s a chillier day. That’s where you can watch the team prepare the pizzas and express awe over how delicious they look. The Hot Honey Burrata Slice is a fan-favorite.
Where: 659 Auburn Ave. NE and in Decatur.
Lloyd’s Pizza Parlour

Lloyd’s Pizza Parlour has all the vibes of a dive pizza bar, with dim lighting and deep-cuts being played over the loud speaker. Lloyd’s serves thinner-style pizza with the option to choose your own toppings. Every month, there’s a new Pie of the Month, so you never know what flavors you’ll get to try. Grab a late-night slice starting at 9 p.m.
Where: 900 DeKalb Ave. NE
Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza

With a new location in Buckhead and the original location in Sandy Springs, Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza is famous for its star-shaped pizza. The most popular, The Star Luca, has a clump of ricotta cheese near the crust to make for a cheesy delicious bite. Add an extra kick to each bite with spicy extra virgin olive oil.

Where: 3699 Lenox Road, with another location coming to Inman Park
Pizza by Yandys

You could call this spot a hidden gem, since it’s located inside a Mexican grocery store, but real Atlanta residents know how great it is. Pizza by Yandys serves New York and Detroit style pizzas and people (OK, us…) rave about the Hot Honey Char Pepperoni Pizza.

Varuni Napoli
