When Spain arrives in Atlanta for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, it brings much more than world-class soccer.
From flamenco performances and paella demonstrations to cultural exhibits, community gatherings and fan celebrations, Atlanta will become a vibrant showcase of Spanish culture during the tournament. Throughout June, visitors and locals alike will have opportunities to experience the traditions, flavors and artistry that make Spain one of the world’s most beloved destinations.

Casa España Atlanta
From June 13 to 21, the Casa España de Atlanta, run by the RFEF (Real Federación Española de Fútbol), the Spanish national team, is opening Casa España Atlanta, a headquarters for fans. Located at 117 Forsyth Street, this will be the place where fans can meet to pump up team spirit and cheer for the Spanish national team. There will also be VIP events. Spaniards and non-Spaniards are welcome. The event space may also reopen if Spain returns to Atlanta for the semi-finals.
Where to Go and What to Do
Beyond the fan zone, a diverse lineup of events across metro Atlanta will highlight Spain’s rich culinary heritage, music, dance, history and contemporary culture.

Spain and the U.S.A. – 250 Years
The exhibit “Spain and the Hispanics in the Independence of the U.S.A.” will be on display at the Ferst Center at Georgia Tech. This free exhibit is open to the public

Tapas and Paella Pop-Up

Meet the City of Málaga
The National Tourist Office of Spain will host the Malaga Destination Presentation at Casa de España Fan Zone, 186 Mitchell Street. Representatives from the City of Málaga and Casa de España for a special presentation showcasing Málaga as a premier year-round destination where culture, beaches, gastronomy, and luxury converge. The presentation, which starts at 4 p.m., will be followed by a VIP open bar and food tasting reception.

World Tapas Day will be celebrated at the Casa de España at noon. This private gathering will feature the latest in tourism updates from Spain, insights into the Atlanta Falcons’ upcoming game in Madrid as well as an opportunity to experience the rich flavors of Spanish gastronomy through a curated tapas tasting. The event is sponsored by the National Tourist Office of Spain.
Spanish Community Fan Party
Spanish Community Fan Party, or Juntos Por El Fútbol, Juntos Por España Casa de España: La Comunidad Española Se Reúne En Atlanta, is a party for the Spanish community living in Atlanta, organized by Casa de España (RFEF). Fans who are from Spain are invited to gather at Casa de España en Atlanta from 6-8 p.m. Free admission with RSVP.

United by Fútbol: Spanish Students and Friends Gathering.
The Casa España de Atlanta is presenting this program for youth of all ages – in English. The event was created to bring Spanish students and friends together in Atlanta during the FIFA World Cup. The free, informal, vibrant soccer-inspired gathering is at 6 p.m. at Casa de España.

Paella Demonstration at the Atlanta Beltline
Chefs Edu Torres, Luis Valls and Ismael Fernández will give a paella demonstration at the Beltline Festival at 4 p.m. Presented by the Spanish Embassy, it will take place at Pittsburgh Yards

La Guitarra Flamenca Documentary
The documentary, “La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés,” will be presented by the Spanish Embassy at the ATL Cultural House, 1-2 p.m. Admission is free with RSVP.

Rumba Flamenco Guitar
Rouzbeh plays rumba flamenco guitar at Decatur WatchFest, Decatur Square, 7 p.m., between matches. Free admission.

Watch Party
The Spanish team leaves on June 21, but Casa de España en Georgia is organizing a special party at Bench Warmers Sports Grill at 7:30 p.m to watch the Spanish team play Uruguay in Guadalajara, Mexico. Decatur is hosting Decatur Watchfest on the Square so people can go outside and join them for a communal celebratory experience at 6 p.m. Free admission with RSVP before June 19. “La Sobremesa” Pop-Up
Somnium presents “La Sobremesa,” an open-air pop-up event that combines Spanish cuisine with live flamenco performances. The event will take place between 6 and 10 p.m. at District Atlanta.
