Eat, Drink and Be Scary
Midtown Halloween Block Party
Secure the perfect costume for the Midtown Halloween Block Party, Oct. 25. A wristband gets you access to more than 35 establishments with no cover fee. There will also be complimentary shots, exclusive food and drink specials, and a $500 costume contest at Politan Row. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Tickets are limited. Participating businesses include McCray’s Tavern, The Nook, My Sister’s Room and more.

Little 5 Points Halloween Festival & Parade

Halloween weekend in Little 5 Points is packed of events you won’t want to miss. The two-day event Oct. 18-19 features live music, an art and vintage market, wrestling, The Monster Sticker Hunt and plenty of spooky surprises. The parade occurs Sunday at noon. Trader Vic’s Annual Hulaween Costume Party

Come for the Mai Tais & Monsters Hulaween Costume Party at Trader Vic’s on Oct. 31. There will be themed buffet stations, hauntingly crafted cocktails, a high-energy costume contest and electrifying entertainment for a full blown Halloween celebration. There will be prizes for the most jaw-dropping Halloween looks.
Amore e Amore

Nightmare on Highland occurs at Amore e Amore. The restaurant features eerie décor around every corner, spine-tingling treats, specialty cocktails and sinfully delicious Italian fare crafted by Professor Giovanni himself.
On Halloween, everyone 21 and older is invited to an adults-only evening. Guests can enjoy a four-course prix fixe menu with seatings between 8 and 8:45 p.m. There will be bone-chilling cocktails, a spellbinding set for a live DJ, a roaming magician and a high-stakes costume contest.

The Wicked Pig
One of the most iconic Halloween pop-up bars is back at The Blind Pig Parlour Bar. There will be Halloween-themed cocktails including the Red Blood Moon Margarita, Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini and Zombie Pig. Enjoy themed light bites such as the Harvest Pumpkin, Mummy Dogs and Oreo Grave Dirt Cheesecake. The pop-up runs from Sept. 19 to Nov. 2.

Wicked Hideaway: Halloween Pop-Up
AltaToro is hosting a Wicked Hideaway to get you in the spooky spirit. The heated, covered patio will have eerie décor, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, twinkling lights and spooktacular photo ops. The restaurant will serve themed-cocktails, along with a wickedly special sweet treat from the pastry chef. There will be fire shows Wednesday through Sunday nights. The pop-up runs from Oct. 3 through Nov. 2.
Halloween Afternoon Tea at The St. Regis Atlanta

Bring your class and costumes to The St. Regis for Halloween Afternoon Tea Oct. 25 and 26. Enjoy fine teas and champagne while savoring treats inspired by the magic and mystery of Halloween.

NETHERWORLD Haunted House
Ready for a fright? Grab your friends and visit one of the scariest haunted houses in the Southeast. Folklore Haunted House
The spookier the haunted house, the better? Then make your way to the suburbs for Folklore Haunted House. The Winters Estate will have you face-to-face with the unimaginable horrors that have occurred in the home. And this year, they’re bringing something ancient, powerful and sinister for an even spookier experience. Try not to scream at the Maze of Madness with monsters and madmen that change daily. No matter when you go, there will be a new fright lurking.

Six Flags Over Georgia Fright Fest

This year marks 30 years of Fright Fest. Happening selected nights Sept. 13-Nov. 2, there will be terrifying haunted mazes, sinister scare zones, exhilarating live shows plus specialty food and drink. Try the pay-to-panic Haunted Mazes if you’re ready to get really spooked.

Haunted History Tours at Fox Theatre
The Fox Theatre has a chilling past — one that you’ll want to hear about during the Haunted History Tours. For those who crave a deeper dive into the supernatural, book a Ghost Tour on select dates in October. Both tours share the same spine-tingling ghost tales that have made Fox tours legendary. However, Ghost Tours go one step further, offering exclusive areas not included on Haunted History routes, including the theater’s eerie sub-basement where countless legends (and spirits) reside. Expect shadowy figures in forgotten rooms, unexplained sounds and tales of performers and patrons who never truly left.
Haunted History Tours are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in September and October. Ghost Tours are Oct. 27 and 28.
Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Cemetery

The tradition of Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Cemetery continues for the 19th year. Costumed storytellers will bring the tales of Oakland’s notable and notorious residents to life in living color. You’ll get to explore the mysterious beauty of the cemetery after dark and meet a few of the fascinating characters who made Atlanta the city it is today. There will be live music at the start of the tour, craft beer and cocktails to enjoy.
