Gold is getting a theatrical makeover this fall as AU Room Show brings aerial artistry, contemporary dance, music and immersive visuals to Atlanta’s Pullman Yards from Aug. 27 through Oct. 11.
Created and produced by former Cirque du Soleil soloist and four-time World Pole Sport & Artistic Pole Champion Polina Volchek, the 100-minute production explores humanity’s centuries-long fascination with gold — from its beauty and power to its connections to temptation, love, faith and time.
Rather than simply putting gold on display, AU Room Show aims to immerse audiences in a world inspired by the precious metal.
“Gold has inspired civilizations for thousands of years. AU Room isn’t about luxury. It’s about our relationship with one of history’s most powerful symbols,” Volchek says. “We wanted to create a world where audiences don’t simply watch a performance; they step inside a living work of art.”
A Contemporary Circus Experience

Produced by Pink Puma Inc. in partnership with BucketListers and Pullman Yards, AU Room Show combines world-class aerial performances with contemporary choreography, music, costumes and large-scale LED visuals.
The result is designed to feel part theater, part contemporary circus and part visual art installation, with performers moving through theatrical environments shaped by lighting, sound and movement.
For Atlanta audiences, the production also marks a return to Pullman Yards for Volchek. Earlier this year, she brought the sold-out AfterDark Show to the historic complex.
“Polina brings an extraordinary artistic perspective to AU Room, shaped in part by her Russian roots and a strong appreciation for theatrical storytelling, discipline and visual artistry,” says Maureen Meulen of Pullman Yards. “Her talent to transform movement into emotion and create these breathtaking, immersive worlds is truly remarkable.”

Pullman Yards’ industrial setting provides a fitting backdrop for the production. The 27-acre complex, located on Rogers Street near Kirkwood and Edgewood, has become one of Atlanta’s destinations for large-scale immersive experiences and cultural programming.
Originally built in 1904 by Pratt Engineering and later expanded by the Pullman Company as a railcar repair facility, the property has hosted experiences including the Balloon Museum, “Stranger Things: The Experience”, “Jurassic World: The Exhibition” and “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience”.
