This stylish place in Atlanta's Poncey-Highland neighborhood is first and foremost a wine bar, so expect an impressive and interesting list with a wide variety of reserve wines and even a section for aged Madeira, but with Chef Steven Satterfield in charge of the kitchen, the food is far from an afterthought. Take a seat indoors or out to enjoy a buzzy vibe along with a variety of shareable dishes sporting a seasonal, contemporary flair. Start with a smattering of snacks from olives and ham and cheese beignets to crispy panisse or a selection of cheese, while in the evenings, full plates like bistro steak and seared tilefish over black lentils are on offer. No matter the choice, it all works. Vanilla semifreddo with melon granita and rosemary shortbread is a bright and refreshing finish.
