Local Breweries Offer New Ways for Beer Lovers to Experience Atlanta

Hop into Atlanta’s Craft Beer and Brewery Scene
SweetWater Brewing Company

Atlanta’s largest craft brewery, SweetWater Brewing Company, loves IPAs but also offers a variety of brews. The 420 Extra Pale Ale is what put this popular brewery on the map. SweetWater also operates the Last Cast Bar & Grill at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and SweetWater beers are available at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The annual SweetWater 420 Fest is one of Atlanta’s favorite festivals.

Monday Night Brewing
Monday Night Brewing in West Midtown is the Monday Night’s Original Gravity brewery. West Midtown offers everything from core beers to limited edition sour ales and barrel aged beers, as well as the infamous Hop Hut bar, offering fresh pours from an experimental IPA collection. Monday Night Brewing’s The Garage is a barrel-aging and souring brewery. The Grove, near the original brewery on Trabert Avenue, serves morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well as 30 beers on draft and curated craft cocktails.

Three Taverns Craft Brewery

If you like Belgian-style beers, you’ve come to the right place. This Decatur brewery’s offerings live up to any Belgian beer you’ve tasted.
Must-Try: Lord Grey

New Realm Brewing Company

New Realm Brewing Company’s core principles are quality, creativity, authenticity and striving for perfection, all with a customer-centric, community-focused commitment. Find New Realm along the Eastside Beltline trail. Bring Fido to the dog-friendly outdoor space.
Must-Try: Hazy Like a Fox and Ale of an Engineer (especially if you went to Georgia Tech)

Wild Heaven Beer
This Avondale Estates gem is definitely worth a trip (and a sip). Wild Heaven also has locations on the Westside Beltline and at Toco HIlls.

Scofflaw Brewing

The brewery made a name for itself, both for its IPAs and its fun tasting room.

Arches Brewing
Situated on Atlanta’s southside next to the East Point Marta station, Arches Brewing occupies a historic manufacturing building.

In 2021, USA Today voted Fire Maker Best New Brewery in America. Fire Maker was voted Best in Atlanta in 2022, 2023 and 2024 by Atlanta Best Media.
