New Developments Transform Future Meetings

Consisting of the Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park and the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority’s downtown Atlanta campus is undergoing a dynamic evolution.

Since 2010, more than $2 billion in developments have taken place on GWCCA’s championship campus. Recent highlights include:

SIGNIA BY HILTON ATLANTA

The brand new Signia by Hilton Atlanta opened January 2024, and offers 976 guest rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling views,. The hotel mixes approachable luxury with memorable Southern hospitality, and overlooks Mercedes-Benz Stadium and The Home Depot Backyard and is also connected to Georgia World Congress Center. Complete with 100,000 square feet of event space, 112 event space options and 9,000 square feet of outdoor event space, Signia also features The Lobby Bar, Capolinea, Nest on Four, Homespun, Highball, Friendship Market, Club Signia, Spa Signia and many other premium amenities to welcome guests.

ANDREW YOUNG INTERNATIONAL MALL & TERMINAL

The addition of the Andrew Young International Mall & Terminal project further enhanced GWCCA’s connected campus by extending the pedestrian experience from Centennial Olympic Park to the new Signia by Hilton Atlanta hotel. With its expanded open spaces, seating areas and tiered decks, the Mall creates opportunities for customers and their attendees to enjoy outdoor space close to the interior spaces used for their events and offers possibilities for activations to enhance the attendee experience.

100,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall BC connects Buildings B and C of the Georgia World Congress Center, creating more than 1 million square feet of contiguous exhibition space (nearly 1.5M GSF overall)

MERCEDES-BENZ STADIUM

Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Paul Daniel)

State-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home to the NFL Atlanta Falcons and MLS Atlanta United FC. Features over fifteen different event rooms and unmatched event space offering premium amenities and fully customizable experiences. Host to annual sporting events, including the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and SEC Championship, as well as marquee sporting events such as College Football Playoff National Championship (2018) and Super Bowl LIII (2019).
