Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world’s most-traveled airport, welcoming more than 100 million passengers in 2015. Often called a city within itself, Hartsfield-Jackson has dozens of unique dining, shopping and entertainment options for travelers. Make the most of your layover and travel from concourse to concourse to see all there is to do at Hartsfield-Jackson.
Before you hop on your flight, refuel at one of Delta’s recharging stations in Concourse T. Each station is equipped with six standard 110 volt outlets and two USB ports perfect for recharging all of your technology while waiting for your flight.
Relax at the spa after a long flight at XpresSpa. Enjoy a massage, manicure or pedicure during your layover. The spa, which opened in 2009, is the first spa in Hartsfield-Jackson.
Head over to Concourse B to catch up on sleep at Minute Suites. Each room is equipped with a daybed sofa, pillows and fresh blankets. The room also offers access to DIRECTV and Wi-Fi.
Visit an Atlanta classic in Concourse C, The Varsity. The original Varsity opened in 1928 and its downtown Atlanta location is the world’s largest drive-in. Grab a burger, fry, shake or the famous chili.
Stop in for a Grindhouse Killer Burger. The restaurant served its first customer in 2009 inside Sweet Auburn Curb Market in downtown Atlanta and further expanded from there. Named best veggie burger in Atlanta by Creative Loafing magazine and the winner of the Chomp & Stomp Chili Competition in its first year of business, this burger joint serves fresh ground burgers, house made onion rings, chili, shakes and fries.
Grab a bite to eat with an upscale dining experience at One Flew South. Offering the finest ingredients from regional farmers, One Flew South serves up ‘Southernational’ cuisine as well as a full sushi menu.
International Terminal/Concourse F:
Catch a ride to Concourse F, the newly-added Maynard Jackson International Terminal. If you just need a place to relax or catch up on work, head over to Club ATL. This is the only lounge that is not affiliated with an airline and allows you to purchase a day pass. The lounge has Wi-Fi access for those looking to work and also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, shower facilities and TVs.
Another local favorite is Ecco, located in the international terminal. Ecco is a prominent tapas and wine bar where diners can experience modern Italian cuisine with a glass of wine before a flight or during a long layover.
