A Global Culinary Star Comes to Atlanta

Known for her precision, seasonality, and storytelling, Chef Kate Austen blends Scandinavian influences with modern fine dining to create bold, elegant flavors.

A woman in a white chef's uniform stands against a brick wall in Atlanta, Georgia.

She became the youngest female head chef at Copenhagen’s two-MICHELIN-starred AOC, later worked at Stockholm’s three-star Frantzén, and developed menus for Gordon Ramsay’s international group.

In 2024, Austen made history on the BBC’s Great British Menu as the first woman in 19 years to win the main course. Today, through her company, Kate F Austen Ltd, she curates private dining experiences, international pop-ups, and high-profile brand events for clients like Rolex, Jaguar Land Rover, and GQ.

Two Exclusive Nights of Culinary Collaboration

At Atlas, Chef Austen will collaborate with Chef Freddy Money, combining world-class technique with Atlanta’s local flavor. Lazy Betty will pair Austen with Chef-Partners Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, offering inventive tasting menus that reflect Atlanta’s dynamic culinary landscape.
