Hanukkah this year begins on Dec. 12 and ends on Dec. 20. Come out and enjoy a grand menorah lighting with friends, family, music, latkes, suganiyot, raffles and more. On Dec. 3, head to the Home Depot at 650 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE for build-your-own-menorah workshops, one at 12:30 p.m., the other at 2:30 p.m. Be sure to sign up early because all kids who sign up will receive a gift.

Grand menorah lightings are as follows:

  1. Atlantic Station –  6:30 p.m., Dec. 13, Central Park on balcony
  2. Ponce City Market – 6 p.m., Dec. 14,  common area off the food court
  3. Virginia-Highland – 4 p.m., Dec. 17. Corner of Highland and Virginia avenues in the Yeah Burger parking lot

Bonus: Avondale Estates –  6 p.m., Dec. 12 on the City Green; Decatur Square — 6 p.m, Dec. 18
