Atlanta Beltline Trails
The Atlanta Beltline is a 22-mile trail that loops around the city connecting 45 neighborhoods and showcasing why Atlanta is The City in the Forest. This outdoor space creates numerous opportunities for visitors to explore intown neighborhoods via trails and paths connected to parks and green spaces.
Visit the Atlanta Beltline to walk, bike, roller skate or scooter the multi-use trails and discover restaurants, breweries, local shops and public art displays along the way. There’s no shortage of things to do on the Atlanta Beltline. You can find open-air markets, have a meal or drink at one of the many rooftop bars and Atlanta Beltline restaurants or simply grab coffee and watch the activity go by. The Beltline is great for pets, with dog-friendly restaurants offering special seating and water bowls. Atlanta Beltline activities also include Yoga on the Beltline, Atlanta Beltline Bike Tour and Arboretum Tour.

The Atlanta Beltline is divided into seven main trails, including the Northside Trail, Northeast Trail, Eastside Trail, Southeast Trail, Southside Trail, Southwest Trail and Westside Trail. There are three connector trails: West End Trail, Southwest Connector Trail and Westside Beltline Connector.
Insider tip: Atlanta Beltline parking is available in some locations as well as street parking, but please be mindful of the neighborhoods and obey all signs to get the most out of your adventure.

Northside Trail
Northside Trail Information
Atlanta’s moniker of The City in the Forest is most evident on this part of the Beltline. With playgrounds, parks and a plethora of trees, enjoy a peaceful stroll on the Northside Trail.
Trail Distance
The Northside Trail covers 2.9 miles, connecting to the Northeast Trail near Armour Yards past Bobby Jones Golf Course and the Westside Trail.
Access Points
There are plenty of access points on the Northside Trail. Hop on at Dellwood Drive near Colonial Homes Drive. Near Louise Howard Park, you’ll find a flight of stairs that takes you to this part of the trail. There’s a parking lot on Collier Road with free parking and direct access to the trail via stairs. A sidewalk connects to the Northside Trail from Walthall Street between Collier Road and Greystone Road. You’ll also find granite stairs connecting Walthall Drive to the trail. Or access the trail by Tanyard Creek Park. The Northside Trail also connects through Ardmore Park to Ardmore Road.
Bonus Trails
This trail merges with the Northwest Beltline Connector going around Bobby Jones Golf Course.
Northeast Trail
Northeast Trail Information
This portion of the trail benefited from major developments in 2024, creating more continuous pathways. This part of the trail includes Piedmont Park, a brewery, staple LGBTQ+ bars, an indoor pickleball spot and more.
Trail Distance
The trail will eventually extend 2.9 miles from Peachtree Creek to Piedmont Park, where the Eastside Trail begins.
Access Points
Find ADA-accessible spots at Mayson Street, Montgomery Ferry Drive, Monroe Drive and Westminster Drive. Ansley Mall is located right off the Northeast Trail. Piedmont Park provides a great place to hang out before or after strolling along this path. The unpaved Northeast Transit Trail is accessible at Evelyn Street, which is the road leading to the parking deck at Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Eastside Trail
Eastside Trail Information
The Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail is the most established section with many restaurants, rooftop bars, breweries, Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market lining the trail.
Trail Distance
The Eastside Trail stretches 3 miles from Piedmont Park in Midtown to Reynoldstown.
Access Points
At the intersection of 10th Street and Monroe Drive, find the northern end of the Eastside Trail by crossing Monroe Drive from Piedmont Park. A pay parking lot is located at Park Tavern at the corner of Monroe Drive and 10th Street. Other access points are found in Poncey Highland at Elizabeth Street and Bernina Avenue, Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market.

The Eastside Trail connects with the Freedom Parkway Trail and the Stone Mountain Trail to stretch your outdoor adventures even further.
Southeast Trail
Southeast Trail Information
Another portion of the trail filled with bars and restaurants is the Southeast Trail, which runs through neighborhoods like Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown and Grant Park.
Trail Distance
Running through neighborhoods like Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown and Grant Park, the Southeast Trail will see further developments, eventually extending to 2.5 miles.
Access Points
At the intersection of Wylie and Estoria streets, start your trek along this trail with street art murals found along Wylie Street. Another spot to access this portion of the trail is at Memorial Drive and Bill Kennedy Way, near Muchacho and Madison Yards.
Southside Trail
Southside Trail Information
This part of the Beltline continues to add developments with hot spots along the trail including Pittsburgh Yards and The Beacon.
Trail Distance
The completed portion of the trail links near Metropolitan Parkway to the Southwest Trail. Eventually, it will extend to 2.4 miles connecting to the Southeast Trail near Grant Park.
Access Points
Access the trail from Pittsburgh Yards with more than 200 free parking spots available. The access point near The Beacon is currently closed and under construction
Southwest Trail
Southwest Trail Information
Located only a few blocks from the West End MARTA Station, the Atlanta Beltline Southwest Trail is home to several new restaurants, breweries and plenty of patio space.
Trail Distance
Starting at Enota Park and ending at Adair Park, the trail runs 2.6 miles.
Access Points
Part of the trail runs alongside White Street, near the food hall Lee + White, making it easy to access.
Bonus Trails
At the meeting point of the Westside and Southwest Trails, you’ll find the Southwest Connector Trail that runs 3.65 miles to Westview Cemetery. The Southwest Trail also runs alongside the West End Trail, a connector that goes from Westview Cemetery to Rose Circle Park.
Westside Trail
Westside Trail Information
The city’s historic westside neighborhoods are connected through the Westside Trail including West End and Mozley Park. This section of the Beltline highlights the beauty The City in the Forest has to offer.
Trail Distance
When completed, the Westside Trail will extend 3.2 miles connecting to the Southwest and Northside trails.
Access Points
With plenty of parks along this portion, there are lots of access points to the Beltline. Hop on near Enota Park, Washington Park or Shirley Clarke Franklin Park.
Bonus Trails
Just like the Southwest Trail, the Westside Trail merges into the Southwest Connector Trail at Westview Cemetery.
There’s even more to come. When finished, the Atlanta Beltline will encompass 22 miles of paved trails circling Atlanta’s many intown neighborhoods.
