Where to get Holiday Meals To-Go in Atlanta

This 2020 holiday season might be different but that doesn’t mean you need to prepare all the food. Check out these gourmet markets and restaurants offering holiday meals to-go.

Cooks & Soldiers

Inspired by the Basque country in Spain and France, the restaurant offers Thanksgiving turkeys, mashed Yukon potatoes, green bean casserole, pies and wine party packs. Cooks & Soldiers family meals include a roasted pork tenderloin with Swiss chard, hazelnut romesco, and potatoes murros or a pinxto party with five tapas-style dishes such as Iberico albondigas, tortilla de chorizo and more.

Murphy’s

To-go meals are available for Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner and brunch and New Year’s dinner and brunch. Wine four-packs, mimosa kits and bloody Mary mix add spirit. Christmas dinner features slow-roasted pork or citrus-cured salmon served with green bean casserole, mashed sweet potatoes and slice-and-bake chocolate chip cookies.

The Buttery ATL

Atlanta restaurateur and chef Linton Hopkins and other food and beverage professionals have created this innovative takeout and delivery concept. Delicious prepared foods include curated Chef Kits with a whole icebox chicken and sides; made-toorder chicken pot pie and Hop’s mac ‘n cheese; the Butcher’s Counter with prime meats and the Bake Shop with freshly baked breads.

Lucy’s Market

For Thanksgiving, choose whole smoked turkeys, lasagna, chicken pot pie, sweet potato souffle with praline topping, Parmesan-crusted Brussels sprouts, bourbon pecan pie and more. For Christmas, turkeys fly the coop to make way for beef tenderloin, pork tenderloin and spiral ham.

Staplehouse Market

Open Wednesday-Sunday, the market has cheeses, smoked meats, fresh pastas, pastries, snacks and pantry items. Recent offerings included beef brisket, pork loin, green beans, squash pie and Casa Cardoza empanadas.

Miller Union

Located in West Midtown, the restaurant offers a nightly dinner menu that serves either two or four people. A recent menu featured skillet trout fillets with rice middlins; braised mustard greens and napa cabbage with lemongrass and ginger; kale salad with candied cashews and pickled apple; and chocolate panna cotta.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Savor starters such as seared ahi tuna and lobster bisque; entrées including the petite filet, lamb chops, cowboy rib-eye, Chilean sea bass and king salmon filet; sides such as garlic mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach; plus chocolate sin cake.
