Vinyl, records, wax… however you spin it, they’re back in style. Even though they aren’t as popular as they used to be, records still have a presence around Atlanta. Here are some places to stock up on both the latest hits and older favorites.

In Little Five Points, Criminal Records stocks obscure titles from various artists. The store sells merchandise and comics, too, and you can sell your records there as well.

Disorder Vinyl

Disorder Vinyl is located on Edgewood Avenue near Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, where you can buy, trade or sell your records or pick up merchandise such as trucker hats or logo shirts. Join the store’s Instagram account for giveaways to local music venues like the Drunken Unicorn and more.

Fantasyland Records 

Fantasyland Records in Buckhead is a store that sells LPs, 45s, CDs, DVDs and even original concert shirts from favorite artists such as  The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Cyndi Lauper.

Moods Music

On Euclid Avenue in Little Five Points, Moods Music sells music for every mood, specializing in Neo Soul, acid jazz and imports. The store also sells DVDs and CDs.

Videodrome

Videodrome is celebrating its 25th year in business as Atlanta’s only movie rental store. DVDs are organized by genre and then by director. Videodrome has partnerships with the Plaza Theatre and Tara Theatre, where the theaters show movies from the Videodrome collection.

Wax ‘N’ Facts

Visit Wax ‘N’ Facts in Little Five Points, one of Atlanta’s most eclectic neighborhoods. Discover new and used vinyls of genres from rock to rap to country. The store also sells CDs and posters featuring different artists.
