57th Fighter Group Club
Every Wednesday night, this unique venue hosts Hustle dance classes at 7 p.m., led by Tony Felix and Pat Korn. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your moves, it’s a fun, casual environment to practice and socialize. No partner? No problem—just come ready to dance. After class, stick around for dinner, drinks and dancing. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and at $10 per lesson, it’s an affordable way to learn.

Brimstone Restaurant and Tavern
Just north of Atlanta, the Brimstone Restaurant and Tavern offers plenty of dining choices, any of them just right for fortifying yourself before dancing the Carolina shag to tunes played by a guest DJ Saturdays from 7 to 11 p.m. or joining a line dance Mondays at 8:30 p.m. (lessons at 7:30 p.m.). For your meal, you may start with an order of truffle fries followed by a salad, soup, sandwich or burgers and hot dogs. Entrees include bourbon-glazed salmon and chicken fried steak. When you hear the sounds of the Tams singing “I’ve Been Hurt” you’ll know it’s time to lace up your dancing shoes.

Cubano’s ATL
Cubano’s ATL is all about good music, great energy, and even better dancing. Every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Cubano ATL offers a free salsa class that brings in a fun mix of beginners and experienced dancers looking to warm up before the night gets going. The vibe is lively but laid-back, making it the perfect place to practice without any pressure. After the lesson, the floor opens up for a night of nonstop salsa and Latin beats. The crowd is friendly, the atmosphere is upbeat and the music keeps everyone moving. Parking is available in the lot, but it fills up fast, so arriving early is a smart move.

Eclipse di Luna
With locations in Buckhead, Dunwoody and Alpharetta, Eclipse di Luna is a go-to for Spanish tapas and lively Latin vibes. The Buckhead location is especially popular for its salsa nights, where live bands and DJs bring the energy up with a mix of salsa, merengue and reggaeton. The Buckhead location, in particular, stands out with its vibrant crowd and electric atmosphere. Live bands and DJs keep the energy high, making it a prime spot for dancing well into the night. Arrive around 9 p.m. to grab a table before the party starts, and don’t miss the mojitos. The music gets going with live bands and DJs, creating an electric atmosphere perfect for dancing.

El Super Pan
El Super Pan is the place to be for a night full of Puerto Rican vibes, salsa and reggaeton. Every Friday night from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., the atmosphere transforms into a lively celebration with beats straight from Bad Bunny himself. It’s a true fiesta, featuring a late-night boricua menu to fuel the fun and keep you dancing all night. If you’re in the mood for salsa, head over on Saturday night from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. for “La Salsa Vive.” A live DJ spins salsa hits while you enjoy late-night bites and drinks to keep the energy high. The crowd is fun, the vibes are vibrant and the dance floor is always packed.

El Valle
This Midtown favorite seamlessly transforms from a lively Mexican restaurant into a full-blown dance party after midnight on weekends. DJs spin a high-energy mix of Latin house, reggaeton and global beats, keeping the crowd moving well into the early hours. By 11 p.m., tables get pushed aside to make room for the dance floor, so be ready for the shift. The craft cocktails, inspired and named after popular Mexican songs, are a must-try. If you’re staying late, expect the energy to build, especially after midnight. Parking is available in the back, and El Valle offers validation — just make sure to provide your details to the hostess. This rooftop place is a must for warm-weather nights in spring and summer. DJs take over after dinner, turning Habitat into an intimate dance space with deep house, Afro-Latin beats, reggaeton, merengue and some salsa. The best time to arrive is after 11 p.m., and parking can be a challenge, so a ride share is the way to go.

Johnny’s Hideaway
An old-school Atlanta icon, Johnny’s Hideaway has been the city’s go-to dance spot for decades, and it’s still as packed as ever. The dance floor stays buzzing with hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s and beyond, drawing a mixed crowd of regulars and newcomers. It’s best after 10 p.m., but expect a line on weekends—arriving around 9:30 p.m. helps. The dress code is casual but polished, and parking can be tricky, so rideshare is your best bet.

Palo Santo is a vibey West Midtown hot spot. The rooftop turns into a DJ-fueled party on weekends. It primarily features house music, with DJs blending in Latin, dance grooves, hip-hop and R&B for an electrifying mix. Expect a younger, stylish crowd and a high-energy atmosphere. Craft cocktails are available upstairs (don’t skip the espresso martini). The best time to arrive is around 10 p.m. to catch the shift from dinner to dancing. Parking is limited, so valet or ride-share is your best bet. It’s also a great place for a date.

PBR Atlanta
If line dancing is your thing (or even if you want to learn), then PBR Atlanta is your destination for dinner and dancing. First, have dinner at The Tavern, located at The Battery Atlanta, then head upstairs for country music and line dancing at PBR. The Tavern at Sports & Social inside Live! at The Battery Atlanta describes itself as an ode to favorite Atlanta Braves players. Craft cocktails include a peanut butter old- fashioned. Menu items vary from Southwestern dishes, salads and pan-seared mahi-mahi to the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Salads and burgers are also available at PBR Atlanta. Once you’re fortified with food and a beverage, it’s time to hit the dance floor. Here we go: grapevine, weave, scoot, brush, kick. Got it?

Roaring Social
Tucked away in Alpharetta, Roaring Social is a hidden gem that combines a swanky speakeasy vibe with live music and a lively dance floor. The venue channels a vintage 1920s aesthetic with craft cocktails and a bowling alley. Try the bubbly bath cocktail. The music varies from jazz to contemporary hits, making it a great place for a night out. Arrive by 9 p.m. for the best experience, and don’t miss the signature old- fashioned. Parking is available in the nearby decks.

Sanctuary
This Buckhead club is the longest-running Latin nightclub in Atlanta, known for its high-energy atmosphere and diverse crowd. On Fridays, “Viernes Tropicales” keeps the dance floor packed with the best in salsa, bachata, merengue, Latin pop rock and reggaeton. If you want to sharpen your moves, arrive at 9:30 p.m. for a beginner salsa and bachata lesson led by Sean Christopher of Salsa ATL/Dancing4Fun.

Sebastian Pintxos & Bar
Each Friday, join “Rincon” for a free bachata and salsa class starting at 9 p.m., followed by a dance social to keep the energy flowing before the DJ takes over. It’s a great way to warm up, meet fellow dancers and get into the rhythm for a night of nonstop movement. Sebastian Pintxos & Bar brings an intimate yet lively atmosphere. DJs keep the energy high with a mix of Latin house, reggaeton and electronic beats. The space is small but vibrant, making it perfect for those who love a packed dance floor. Parking is limited, so nearby lots or ridesharing are recommended.

Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint
Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint invites you to raise a chilled glass and dig into a menu full of Southern-inspired favorites in the dining room or at the bar before hitting the dance floor for a serving of soulful sounds performed by live musicians. Juke joints emerged in the Southeast during the era of segregation, providing African Americans with a place to escape societal pressures at a time when they were barred from white establishments. The clubs provided safe places for traveling black entertainers to play, earn a living and, in some cases, catch their big break. From humble beginnings at rural crossroads, juke joints shaped an important part of African American culture, leaving behind a tremendous musical legacy. Dinner offerings at Sweet Georgia’s include the Juke Cheeseburger and the Juke Joint Fried Chicken, as well as St. Louis ribs and bayou salmon. Time to dance.

Taverna Plaka
If it’s Tuesday and you feel like dancing, head to Taverna Plaka Greek restaurant in Midtown. Arrive early and join the free salsa class or arrive later ready to show off your best moves at this unexpected gem where locals gather to dance. Just like the Plaka in Greece, dining always turns into a celebration at Taverna Plaka. Celebrate with great food, Greek wines and great friends. Late night at Taverna Plaka begins with a DJ spinning hip Mediterranean music, bartenders pouring generous glasses of ouzo, other popular drinks and ,of course, Greek dancing featuring exotic belly dancers and the Taverna Plaka staff.
