College students, take note. There are plenty of places in Atlanta such as museums, theaters and sports venues that offer student discounts. Just remember to bring that student ID as you continue discovering Atlanta.

Fun Atlanta Places that Offer Student Discounts

SkyView Atlanta – $17.50+ tax student (May only be purchased onsite with valid student ID)

Zoo Atlanta – $24.70 – $31.95 ( valid student ID)

Skydive Atlanta – $20 off the Tandem Skydiving Package with student ID.

Georgia Aquarium – Up to 20% off for students at select universities including Georgia State University and Emory University. More information can be found on the university websites.

Regal Atlantic Station Movie Tickets – Special student prices are offered when purchasing tickets at the box office.

Grant Park Coffeehouse –  10% off for students and teachers at nearby colleges.

Saint Germain French Bakery & Cafe – 10% off food & 20% off wine to Georgia Tech students and faculty with ID

Getting Around Town

MARTA – A $68.50 monthly pass is available for students at participating colleges, which saves $26.50 from the regular monthly pass.

Learn a Little Atlanta History

Historic Oakland Cemetery – $6 for guided overview tours, which is half off general admission.

Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum – Student admission is $10, which is $2 off the regular price.

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park – Free admission and free parking.

Take a Break at Atlanta Museums

Fernbank Museum of Natural History – Students can buy Fernbank Museum tickets by visiting the Fernbank box office, mentioning the code “COLLEGE ” and presenting a valid college student ID.  Students can also save $5 off “Fernbank…but later” tickets by visiting the “Fernbank…but later” website using promo code “25 FFBL College.”

Museum of Design Atlanta – Student tickets are $8, which is $2 off regular admission.

Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center – Free admission every day

High Museum of Art – Free admission every second Sunday.

Michael C. Carlos Museum – Free for all college and university students with a valid ID.

Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia –  1-year student discounted general admission for $25 or $5 for daily general admission. 

Relax to Classical Music

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra –The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra offers the ASO College Pass, giving access to up to 20 classical concerts for $35. To take advantage of this offer, sign up using your .edu email address. Once enrolled, you can redeem your tickets up to 48 hours before each performance. Be sure to look out for monthly reminders featuring all the eligible concerts.

Take in a Play

7 Stages Theatre – Student tickets are $15, half price from general admission.

Alliance Theatre – –$10 teen tickets: Middle and high school students can attend performances for just $10. Use promo code TEEN 10 to access the teen ticket price during check-out. Tickets must be picked up at will call. Students must have a valid/current student ID in order to pick up tickets. $15 college student tickets: College students can attend performances of most Alliance Theatre productions for $15. Use promo code COLLEGE15 to access the college student ticket price during check-out. A maximum of 2 tickets per order may be purchased with this discount, and tickets must be picked up from will-call at the box office with a valid student ID.  

Fox Theatre – Discounted last-minute tickets, when available, on the day of the show. Must arrive, in person, two hours before the show. Two tickets per valid full-time student ID.

Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse – On Thursdays, all general admission student tickets are $15. On Fridays and Sundays, all student tickets are $20 in any seating section. No student discounts are available on Saturday nights.

Atlanta Ballet — College and university students with a valid school ID can save more than 50% on tickets by using the code RUSH when requesting tickets. 

Cheer on an Atlanta Sports Team

Atlanta Braves – Students can register for On Deck Access to receive discounted ticket offers throughout the season.

Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame – $30 student admission, a $5 savings off general admission.

Atlanta Hawks – Register to receive exclusive ticket offers throughout the season.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atlanta United FC offers discounted tickets to college students for select matches. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium college pass is exclusively for current college and graduate school students looking to lock in last-minute, low-cost deals to see Atlanta Falcons games, Atlanta United matches and other exciting events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
