This decades-old lunch and dinner spot serves dishes of various genres including Asian, Southwest and Mediterranean cuisine. What we highly recommend though is ordering from the dessert menu, which offers various flavors of dairy-free cakes.

Midtown

Bar Vegan

An entity of the popular Slutty Vegan, Bar Vegan is conveniently located within Ponce City Market. Enjoy a fun happy hour after work or night out with friends. More than good drinks, the menu offers a fully vegan cuisine with notable menu items like egg rolls, Philly cheese steak and chicken sandwiches and more.

Our favorite: Jerk chicken tacos and street corn

Herban Fix

Located only a block away from the North Avenue MARTA Station, this Midtown contemporary-style restaurant serves delicious Pan-Asian cuisine. Only a four-minute walk from the Fox Theatre, this local favorite is a great dinner stop before live entertainment. 

Our favorite: Lemongrass tofu with baby gai lan

Eastside

Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe

Pop into this Kirkwood neighborhood bakery for your favorite desserts including cinnamon rolls, cake slices, cupcakes, pies, cookies, scones and more. The bakery even creates custom-order cakes for any occasion. 

Our favorite: Egg, bacon, avocado and aioli biscuit sandwich

Go Vegan Grill

If you’re in the Decatur area, swing by this cafeteria-style restaurant for soul food-style cuisine. 

Our favorite: fried steak and gravy

Plant-Based Pizzeria

A block up from Hotel Clermont off Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta’s first full vegan pizza joint serves burgers, pizza (of course) and calzones.

Slutty Vegan

What started as one of Atlanta’s most popular food trucks has become the city’s most popular vegan restaurant… chain. Known for a long line of customers waiting to order from the impossible burger-based menu, Slutty Vegan certainly worth the wait and can now be found in four Atlanta locations.

Our favorite: One Night Stand burger with fries (go big or go home)

Tassili’s Raw Reality Cafe

Serving the best wrap ever, this Black-owned restaurant seasons its kale with flavors that’ll make your tastebuds feel alive. Located in the up-and-coming West End district, this raw vegan joint is a must-visit no matter your diet preference.

Vegan Dream Doughnuts

Conveniently located next to the West End Marta Station, this vegan dessert bucket list stop serves savory doughnuts and cinnamon rolls with fruit toppings. Be sure to also ask about the fruit juices, which are created by the friendly staff.
