Most Instagram-Worthy Restaurants in Atlanta

Visitors to Atlanta have so many choices when it comes to places to eat, with candidates spanning every neighborhood and style of cuisine. But if you don’t post about it, did you really go? We’re sharing some of our favorite photogenic restaurants around the city.

Atlas

Atlas restaurant in Atlanta
Dine at the Atlas, which you’ll find inside the St. Regis Atlanta.

Located inside the St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead, Atlas has been named a top restaurant by Open Table and Forbes Travel Guide. There are different experiences in the dining room and tavern, and both have high levels of service and quality. Dishes like the poached lobster and peppered venison are not only photogenic but also delicious. Pair with a glass of wine from the cellar, which earned Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence.

Where to Snap: The teal interiors at this restaurant are highly photogenic, but they are not the only highlight. The dining room also contains pieces from The Lewis Collection, one of the largest private art collections in the world. It’s like eating in an art museum.

Bar Vegan

Bar Vegan is a go-to spot for both vegans and non-vegans looking for a vibe filled with music, good drinks and even better bites. Right in the heart of all the action inside Ponce City Market, this bar creates the perfect atmosphere for any photo.

Where to Snap: The big neon letters spelling Bar Vegan make the perfect background for your photo.

Bon Ton

If you’re looking for the flavors of Louisiana without the travel time, Bon Ton in Midtown is the place to start. The menu has plenty of seafood offerings, including charbroiled oysters and po boys. Sip on one of the classic cocktails, namely the Sazerac, Hurricane and French 75, or a frozen Ward Six Cup, which comes with an umbrella in a color-changing cup.

Where to Snap: Instagrammers love colorful interiors, including the pink fur-lined booth and the dramatically lit bar. But the “Fancy Service” neon sign may just be the most photographed spot in the restaurant.

Bread and Butterfly

The flavors of France are on the menu at Bread and Butterfly, an Inman Park favorite for its outdoor patio. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, with dishes like poached eggs and pancakes. Later in the day, the burger and tomato soup are favorites.

Where to Snap: Your friends might think you’re in a French brasserie based on the photos of the green-tiled walls, blue and white cafe chairs and neon “Merci” sign. But don’t forget about the food, which is the most photogenic.

Little Trouble

Inspired by the science-fiction film “Blade Runner,” Little Trouble is located underneath the shops at Westside Provisions District, down a neon-lit alley. This bar and restaurant is great for shared plates with friends, especially the veggie dumplings, bowls and skewers. Order a cocktail that incorporates ingredients like Japanese whiskey or sample the selection of sake in the dark interior.

Where to Snap: The alley with the blue and red geometric design is by far the most-snapped spot in the restaurant, and it is especially special with your silhouette in front of it.

Nine Mile Station

Set atop Ponce City Market’s roof, Nine Mile Station has one of the best views in town, overlooking the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The elevated beer garden is named for the streetcar station that once was located in front of the building. Make a reservation for dinner or brunch to enjoy seasonal dishes like beef short rib or pan-seared cod. Weekend brunch includes shrimp and grits and egg sandwiches.

Where to Snap: Where else — the open-air patio has panoramic views of the area that can’t be found anywhere else. Grab a seat outside near the fire pits and sip on one of the carefully selected draft beers or craft cocktails.

This 1970s-inspired cafe is located in a former train station in the trendy Reynoldstown neighborhood. Muchacho serves delicious breakfast tacos and avocado toast along with coffee drinks featuring beans from Proud Mary.

Where to Snap: The counter is frequently photographed for its throwback color scheme’s three stripes as are the orange espresso machine and vintage chairs.

Where to Snap: The infamous white horse statue is a crowd-stopper for photos but you can’t go wrong snapping anywhere in the bar as it’s hard to escape the many floral backdrops.

Where to Snap: Dress to impress so you can snap a photo in front of the floral wall. If that’s not your style there are two levels of space with plenty of photo backgrounds to choose from.
