Livable Buckhead brings the holidays to Atlanta in a month-long series of festivities. Miracle on Peachtree is a collection of magical, festive and fun activities for the entire family, including Christmas tree decorating, drive-in holiday movies, hot chocolate crawl and more. Here’s what you can expect.

Virtual 5K

Dec. 1 through 13. Here’s some active fun for the family, no matter where you are. The Second Annual buckheadRUN! has gone virtual with holiday swag. Run or jog to a specially curated Spotify playlist of holiday tunes and try your hand at the most spirited prize by dressing in your holiday best. Prizes will be given to the runners who show the most holiday cheer. Participants who submit selfies during their race time frame will receive a commemorative 5K magnet along with their T-shirt. $30; Register online.

Hot Chocolate Crawl

Hot chocolate and festive specialty cocktails? Yes, please!

Dec. 12. Few things are more festive and delicious than hot chocolate during the holidays. Celebrate the season with this socially distanced walking tour of Buckhead’s holiday light displays. Enjoy live entertainment while tasting specialty cocktails and hot chocolate at designated stops.

Christmas Tree Decorating

Decorate a tree with your loved ones and donate to one of 36 fire stations around Atlanta.

Dec. 12. Join families and businesses in this fun, socially distanced activity to give back to the community. Participants will sponsor and decorate Christmas Trees in Loudermilk Park to be donated to 36 fire stations around Atlanta. Watch as they get gussied up or stop by on the 13th to see them in all their decorated glory.

Holiday “Sleigh-In” Movies

Dec. 12 through 14. Get into the holiday spirit with good, old-fashioned drive-in movie screenings of family favorite Christmas movies like “Elf,” “Home Alone” and “Love, Actually.” Livable Buckhead, in conjunction with Buckhead Village, is hosting this fun event with tickets available through EventBrite. Bring a canned food item to help support the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Visit Santa at Lenox Square

You can’t miss this illuminated “buck” outside Lenox Square in Buckhead Atlanta.

Dec. 1 through 24. As part of the Annual Simon Santa Photo Experience, schedule a socially distanced visit with Santa each day through Christmas Eve. Make reservations and be sure to follow safety protocols. 

Silent Disco and More at Shops Around Lenox

Shop Saturdays at Shops Around Lenox to complete your holiday gifting while dancing a silent disco. (Jamestown)

Dec. 5, 12 and 19. Shops Around Lenox invites you to have a little fun while crossing items off your shopping list. Shop Saturdays includes a silent disco, complimentary gift wrapping and holiday beverages, special promotions and more.
