What To Do in Eastside Atlanta

Neighborhood hopping around Atlanta’s Eastside introduces visitors to bohemian shops, Victorian architecture and landmarks-turned-food halls.  

Atlanta-Ponce-City-Market-Courtyard
Ponce City Market is known for shopping and dining-inside and out. 

Get lost in what may be the largest brick structure in the Southeast while perusing Ponce City Market. With easy access to Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, PCM (as Atlantans call it) is home to local boutiques and an unmatched variety of food. Visitors to PCM find themselves surrounded by historical architecture in one of Atlanta’s hot spots.  

Little Five Points
Little Five Points is a must-visit for all things funky and artistic. 

Little Five Points is Atlanta’s own bohemian paradise. Cool nightlife, unique clothing shops and street art galore make this neighborhood a can’t-miss when visiting the city. You might even recognize Criminal Records from the silver screen. 

Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum and Library

One of Atlanta’s two Nobel Peace Prize winners and Georgia’s only president provide a dose of history at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. Take a look into the life of President Carter, ranging from his humble beginnings in Plains, Ga., to his post-presidential dedication to various charities and causes.  

What To Eat in Eastside Atlanta 

Beetlecat is a favorite go-to for seafood lovers.

Ford Fry’s BeetleCat brings fresh oysters and seafood to Atlanta’s Eastside. Try a whole roasted fish for two or come for breakfast where you can get Irish coffee doughnuts.

Argosy in East Atlanta Village transports visitors to what feels like a ship lost at sea. Dozens of beers on tap can be paired with wood-fired pizzas, house-cut French fries or pork belly pastrami. Check to see if the BevTent and beer garden are open.

Inman Park
The King of Pops is known far and wide for creative frozen treat flavors. 

Wander off the beaten path of Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail and reward yourself with a cool frozen treat at King of Pops’ walk-up window. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients make up blueberry cobbler, cookies ‘n’ cream, and maple brown sugar flavors, among many others. King of Pops is a local business of which we are very proud.
