It’s a Miracle on Peachtree in Buckhead
Miracle on Peachtree is back for the third year with new and festive, family-friendly events and activities to usher in the holiday season. From ballet to hot cocoa, Christmas tree decorating, local shopping and even a holiday tea, you’re certain to find more than one way to celebrate the season in Buckhead. Here’s what you can expect.

Buckhead Village kicks off holiday festivities beginning Nov. 17 with a wide variety of shopping and entertainment opportunities.

Shop & Stroll Saturdays

Every Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., Nov. 26 through Dec. 17, stop by for Buckhead Village’s Shop & Stroll series, where you are invited to enjoy open-air shopping and dining experiences in addition to family-friendly activities and crafts. Holiday performers and Stylish Santa will stroll the area bringing music, caroling and other performances, while stores will offer in-store events and specials. Indulge in s’mores at the pit and check the food and beverage carts spread around the property.
Holiday Happenings at Shops Around Lenox
Special Holiday Performance – Diners and shoppers are in for a treat with a special holiday performance at 1 p.m. on Nov. 26. Grab a seat at Seven Lamps or Flower Child and enjoy.
Holiday Movie Night in the Courtyard – Bundle up for an outdoor showing of a favorite holiday flick at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 1. Complimentary hot cocoa and espresso martinis from Frothy Coffee & Goods and movie snacks will be served.
Holiday Mini-Market and Photos with Santa – Join the festivities at a holiday mini-market on Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Between shopping and dining, enjoy free family-friendly activities such as a 360 photobooth with Santa, complimentary hot cocoa, espresso and pastries from Frothy Coffee & Goods, cookie decoration bar, DIY ornaments and a paint your own dreidel station.
Carolers and Hot Cocoa Sip and Shop – Sip, shop and sing-a-long with Shops Around Lenox on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. Complimentary hot cocoa from Frothy Coffee & Goods and carolers will be popping up around the shops spreading holiday cheer.

Christmas Trees for Fire Stations

Stroll Buckhead Avenue on Dec. 3 to see each of the uniquely decorated trees. After their time on display in Buckhead, the trees will be donated to Atlanta Fire Department stations throughout the city.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies
Bring the family to enjoy one of these annual Christmas tree lighting ceremonies in Buckhead.
- Nov. 18 – Atlanta History Center 7:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and children, $10 for members. Admission is free for children ages 3 and younger.
- Nov. 20 – Macy’s Tree Lighting at Macy’s Lenox
- Dec. 1 – Terminus Commons
- Dec. 3 – Loudermilk Park at 6 p.m.
Hot Chocolate Crawl

This year’s annual Hot Chocolate Crawl takes place Dec. 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Stroll along Peachtree Road between Lenox Square and the Buckhead Village District and take in the beautiful light displays, stopping at a variety of locations to enjoy hot chocolate and specialty cocktails. Enjoy performances along the route, which features Christmas carols and live music. Free holiday holographic glasses will be provided to add even more sparkle to the viewing experience. The first 100 people will receive a commemorative ceramic campfire mug.

Photos with Santa at Lenox Square

Little ones won’t want to miss the opportunity to see live reindeer and share their wish list with Santa. Visit Old St. Nick at the front entrance of Lenox Square on Nov. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Putting your pet on your Christmas cards? Pet photos with Santa will take place at Lenox Square on Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Atlanta Ballet Performances

Atlanta Ballet 2 will make a special visit to Buckhead Avenue on Nov. 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to perform in the open-air space alongside The Veranda. The performance will feature classics like “The Nutcracker” plus contemporary works.
2022 Christkindl German Market

The German American Cultural Foundation’s 2022 Christkindl German Market will be set up in the Buckhead Village District. The market features more than 50 vendors offering festive food and beverage treats and items to purchase plus live music and entertainment on the weekends. This traditional holiday market will run daily from Nov. 25 through Dec. 24.

Indie Craft Experience Holiday Market 2022
This year’s Indie Craft Experience Holiday Market takes place at Uptown Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 3. The market features craft, art and vintage vendors as well as local food — perfect for holiday shopping.

Holiday Tea with Santa
The St. Regis will once again host a magical, traditional Holiday Tea with Santa in the festive Astor Court from Nov. 25 through Dec. 24. Enjoy tea and holiday treats, with special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Make reservations early as this often sells out.
