Where to Hunt Easter Eggs in Atlanta

You know what it means when Easter rolls around: The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs all around town. Here’s where to join an Easter egg hunt in the city.

East Atlanta
Friends of East Atlanta are planning a Family Fun Day and Easter egg hunt for April 13 from 3 until 6 p.m. In addition to the hunt, there will be a bounce house and giant games from 3 until 6 p.m.; Hoola Hoop and jump rope activities from 3 until 4 p.m.; face painting and art from 3 until 5:30 p.m.; an egg hunt for kids ages 11 and younger from 5 until 5:30 p.m.; a tug-of-war from 4:30 until 5 p.m.; and an egg hunt for kids ages 5 and younger from 4 until 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Grant Park
Grant Park’s Easter egg hunt is set for 1 p.m. April 19, and it promises games, goodie bags and more. The price is $10 for children; no charge for their adults.

Halidom Eatery

Halidom Eatery is billing its Easter egg hunt as the largest in East Atlanta, and who are we to argue? The bunny will hide the eggs on April 20, and will set them up by age group: ages 1 to 3 from 11 a.m. until noon; ages 4 to 7 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m.; and ages 8 to 12 from 2 until 3 p.m. You may take complimentary photos with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Kids can watch a skilled balloon artist, and there will be a bounce house for the little ones. Everyone can enjoy tunes, eats and drinks. There is no charge for the egg hunt.

Summerhill Easter Egg Hunt
The Summerhill Easter egg hunt is set for noon April 12 in Phoenix II Park. Registration begins at 11 a.m.

Swan House

The Great Swan House Easter Egg Hunt is sold out, so you may want to make a note to register early next year. The program includes egg hunts (for ages 1–3 and 4–10), face-painting, a balloon artist, sheep shearing demonstration and photos with the Easter Bunny.

West End
The West End Egg Hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m. until noon April 12 in West End Park. There is no charge. There will be egg hunts for different age groups, face painting and games, photos with the Easter Bunny, prizes and sweet treats.

The Works
The Easter celebration at The Works runs April 12 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Expect kid-friendly activities, photo opportunities, balloon animals and a petting zoo. Tickets include an Easter basket, face painting, balloon animals, activity stations and vendor shopping. Tickets are not required for parents and guardians. Please leave your personal Easter baskets at home. The Easter egg hunts begin at 10:30 a.m. The 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. times are best suited for children age 10 and younger. Stop by The Workshop next to Chattahoochee Food Works to check in and pick up your Easter basket.
