The more the merrier. Looking for dining plans for a large group? It’s easy. The Michelin Guide Atlanta offers endless possibilities. Amid different moods, cuisines and price points, there is an option in every corner of the city. Here is your guide to large party dining in Atlanta, Michelin Guide style. 

Fine Dining

Formal, polished, high-end experiences perfect for corporate dinners, VIP guests and special events and occasions.

Atlas 

Dining at one-Michelin-Star Atlas is a sophisticated culinary experience best enjoyed with a group. Make a reservation online for up to six people, or reach out to explore other mind-blowing experiences. A party of eight can reserve the Papillon Room to dine surrounded by more than 3,000 butterflies. The chef’s table with the best view of the kitchen is available for up to 12, and the private dining room, where you will have to walk through the kitchen, is available for up to 16. Atlas is located in Buckhead at the St. Regis Hotel Atlanta.

Bacchanalia 

Bacchanalia has played a significant role in shaping Atlanta’s culinary story. With seasonal flavors and ingredients, chef/owner Anne Quatrano and her team have built a menu that showcases the best of our region. While you can only make reservations for parties up to four online, Bacchanalia can accommodate larger groups in the dining room, and the private dining space with a large, beautiful table is available for an even larger party. Bacchanalia has earned a One Michelin Star and a Green Star.

THE CHASTAIN 

For lunch or dinner, Michelin Green Star THE CHASTAIN is a local favorite. Perched right across the street from Chastain Park in Buckkhead, the greenery of Atlanta is at the forefront when dining here. You can dine in the garden where chef/owner Christopher Grossman grows many of the ingredients he uses. Another option is the comfortable, minimalist dining room. You can make a reservation online for a group of up to nine or contact the restaurant to customize a meal for a larger group.

Kimball House

Located in Decatur on the Eastside of Atlanta, Michelin-recommended Kimball House is the perfect welcoming setting for a group. What was once a railroad station is now a sleek restaurant with a French flair and a seasonal menu. Private dining is available for groups of different sizes, depending on the needs of the party. You can make reservations online for up to six, but Kimball House is happy to accommodate larger parties, based on availability. This is a very popular spot, so plan ahead.

Lazy Betty 

At one-Michelin-star Lazy Betty in Midtown, just steps from Piedmont Park, chef/owners Aaron Phillips and Ron Hsu offer tasting menus to satisfy every appetite. Book a dinner for up to six online or contact the restaurant directly to book the chef’s room for up to 20, the private room for up to 30 or the full restaurant for up to 100 guests.

Marcel 

This is a fancy Michelin-recommended restaurant in the Westside serving throwback American-style steakhouse food. Lights are dimmed, walls are dark, leather seats are comfy and the mood is cozy and sexy. Steak lovers will be in heaven. Make a reservation online for up to six or reach out to the restaurant for larger parties and private events. The private dining room seats up to 45, or you can do a buy-out for 150 seated or 175 cocktail-style. 

Where: 1170 Howell Mill Road 

Mūjo

Dine with a group at this modern, one-Michelin-star, edomae-style sushiya led by chef J. Trent Harris. Fifteen can enjoy a night at Mūjo when you buy out every seat in the intimate restaurant. For parties of five or six, the koshitsu (private room in Japanese) is available. Guests can expect a series of small plates followed by a progression of seasonal nigiri and dessert. Supplements are also available to make the night extra special.

O by Brush 

Enjoy a 20-course Omakase experience for you and nine others at the private dining room at O by Brush, located in the Buckhead Village. Enjoy an artful adventure with chef Jason Liang and his Brush Sushi team.

Refined and Relaxed

Approachable but polished, a balance of elevated dining and comfort, ideal for business meals, intimate celebrations and sophisticated groups without the formality.

Banshee Atlanta 

Located in East Atlanta, Banshee offers New American fare and a fun atmosphere that reflects the eclectic neighborhood. Stay away from the pepperoni butter – it’s addictive. Make reservations for up to eight, or call to arrange for larger parties and private events.

BoccaLupo 

Enjoy Italian-ish food in a laid-back restaurant where the staff treats you like a regular, even when it’s your first time there. Be amazed by the cocktails and the electrifying atmosphere of BocaLuppo. You can make reservations for up to six people online at this Michelin-recommended restaurant or reach out to the restaurant to accommodate a larger party in a comfortable location near the Atlanta Beltline on the Eastside

Delbar 

Delbar takes Middle Eastern food up a level. There are locations in Buckhead or Inman Park. Groups of nine or fewer can make reservations online at the Michelin-recommended restaurant. For parties of 10 or more, a set menu can be arranged, but this must be done at least 48 hours in advance, on weekdays only. On weekends, the largest group size can be 10 guests. For a party of 90 or more, you must rent the entire venue. The Inman Park location has a private dining room that can accommodate up to 30.

Located in the Westside Provisions District, Little Sparrow is a Ford Fry restaurant decorated with a moody ambiance accentuated by gold, marble and wood. From the patterned tile floor to the soft drapes and dark leather banquettes, this Michelin-recommended restaurant is the perfect spot for an intimate and fancy gathering. Make a reservation for up to 10 online or call for private events.

Lyla Lila

Devour memorable pastas and seafood in the heart of Midtown at this Michelin-recommended gem, just across the street from the Fox Theatre. Make reservations online for up to six or call to arrange private dining options.

Miller Union 

Southern food meets farm-to-table at Michelin-recommended Miller Union. The decor feels as if you are dining at the home of a friend who lives on a farm. There are wood floors, large windows and various dining rooms. Each room is a possibility for large groups. Miller Union can serve 14 guests at one table or up to 38 in a private space. Reservations for up to eight can be made online. Call the restaurant for larger group possibilities.

Spring 

The only one-MICHELIN-Star restaurant without a tasting or pre-fix menu, Spring invites you to order off the menu. Make reservations for up to six at the New American restaurant on historic Marietta Square.

Table & Main 

In a converted home on Roswell’s Canton Street, chef Woolery “Woody” Back prepares modern Southern cuisine with a seasonal focus. The Bib Gourmand restaurant is charming and picturesque with ample natural light, earthy tones and a lush patio. Grab a table on the front porch for up to 12 or make a reservation to sit inside in the lovely dining room for up to eight people. If you have a larger group, give them a call. They will be sure to set you up. Table & Main also offers space for private and semi-private events.

The Alden 

Chef Jared A. Hucks has traveled the world cooking at some of the best restaurants and crafting his own style. Now, we get to enjoy it in his hometown, Chamblee. Just minutes from Atlanta, Michelin-recommended The Alden offers a seasonal menu. You can order à la carte or go for the five- and seven-course tasting menu. You may make reservations online for up to six or call ahead to arrange for larger parties. The Alden can accommodate eight to 20 in the dining room or on the patio.

Tiny Lou’s

Located in the historic Hotel Clermont, Michelin-recommended Tiny Lou’s is a French experience. Dress up for a fancy dinner. Make reservations for up to six online, or call ahead to inquire about private dining options. Tiny Lou’s can accommodate up to 100.

Playful and Creative

Inventive menus, unique concepts and stylish atmospheres. Great for Instagram-worthy moments and memorable group experiences.

Georgia Boy 

Speakeasy-style restaurant for a large group? Absolutely. Michelin-recommended Georgia Boy, located at the back of Southern Belle, offers room for 16 guests to enjoy dinner in an open kitchen, watching all the chef action from the front row. During regular business hours, you can make reservations for up to eight people online or reach out to accommodate a larger party.

Gunshow 

Your group has never seen anything like Gunshow. The concept is fun and perfect for groups to enjoy. You’re essentially dining in a large kitchen and receiving innovative and unique dishes straight from chef Cody Chassar and his team. You can make reservations for up to eight online or call to accommodate more at this Michelin-recommended restaurant. Groups of nine to 18 people are served a 10-course family-style meal. Due to the nature of the service style, larger groups could require a buyout. Gunshow hosts groups of up to 75 for a seated dinner or 125 for a standing, cocktail-style affair.

Nàdair 

Dine the Scottish way with a three- or six-course pre-fix menu. You can make reservations online for up to six, and Michelin-recommended Nàdair also has a private dining space for parties of seven to 15. This restaurant is the creation of Atlanta’s legendary chef Kevin Gillespie, where he pays homage to his heritage and love of wood-fire cooking. Just 10 minutes from Piedmont Park, the restaurant is located on the Eastside

Southern Belle  

Southern Belle has a beautiful, large table in the middle of its artfully decorated and eclectic restaurant. It’s perfect for a group of 10 who want to dive into chef Joey Ward’s creative menu. Each dish will be a conversation starter, for sure. There is a patio that also makes it a great space for a group. You can make reservations online for up to 10 or call to explore private dining and private event options at this Michelin-recommended restaurant.

The Deer and the Dove 

Is your group adventurous? The Deer and the Dove will push you outside of your comfort zone and also serve you some favorites. You decide how far you want to go. Chef Terry Koval opened this Michelin-recommended restaurant on Decatur Square, along with his wife. Fresh produce and local ingredients put the focus on slow food. Go for the grilled burger or dive right into the beef tongue, sweetbreads or snails. Make reservations for up to 8, or call ahead for larger parties and private events.

Talat Market 

From a pop-up to a brick-and-mortar, Michelin-recommended Talat Market has a following in Atlanta. Chef Parnass Savang and Rod Lassiter bring Thai flavors to the heart of Summerhill. Whatever you see on the plate is a pure reflection of their talent. You can make reservations online for up to seven or contact the restaurant to arrange a private event.

Casual and Lively

Relaxed settings, vibrant energy and shareable food. Perfect for laid-back gatherings, casual group meetings or post-event meals.

Staplehouse 

Dine al fresco at Staplehouse. A table for eight can be arranged, or you could rent out the whole space. The experience begins the moment you walk through the kitchen to reach the dining room. The patio makes the perfect backdrop for a special dinner in this unpretentious neighborhood restaurant, where it feels as if you are dining at your cool, foodie friend’s house.

Antico Pizza Napoletana 

Eat the best Napoletana pizza in one of Atlanta’s Bib Gourmand restaurants – sitting in the kitchen just feet away from the big ovens. The long communal tables are great for groups, but be sure to get there at an off-peak hour. Antico Pizza doesn’t take reservations, but will work to accommodate larger groups if you call in advance.

Masterpiece 

Make a trip to Duluth, immerse yourself in the beautiful diversity of Buford Highway and end up at Masterpiece for a mouth-watering Chinese meal. This Bib Gourmand restaurant, tucked inside a shopping center, definitely delivers. Sichuan dishes range from dumplings to Kung Pao chicken and everything in between. Reservations are not available, but large round tables make it easy to come enjoy a meal with a group of six or more. 

Where: 3940 Buford Highway NE, Duluth, Ga.  

Superica 

With three locations across Atlanta and two more just a few miles away, Superica offers lunch or dinner options. The fun and laid-back environment will find you dipping into insanely good cheeses and salsas, sipping on tequila and mezcal cocktails and diving into mouthwatering fajitas.

Make a reservation online for up to eight, or call for a larger group. The Bib Gourmand Tex-Mex restaurant offers space for up to 22 in a private dining room at the Krog Street Market location or up to 15 guests on the stage – yes, a stage. The location at The Battery, situated just outside the home of the Atlanta Braves, accommodates up to 40 in its private space, and the Buckhead location accommodates up to 24.

Kamayan ATL 

Have a feast – literally – at Michelin-recommended Kamayan ATL. It is the perfect choice for a large group to dig into traditional Filipino dishes, family style. Reach out and ask for the Kamayan Feast for a group of 10 or more. The restaurant can be reserved on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays after 5:30 p.m.

Nam Phuong

Michelin-recommended Nam Phuong does not take reservations, but there is always a large table ready to be filled with Vietnamese food – classic pho, rice and vermicelli dishes.  Round tables of eight are available, and there are rectangular tables for larger parties. Rush hours can get busy, so plan accordingly. There are menu options designed especially for large groups. Nam Phuong is in the heart of Buford Highway.

Storico Fresco 

There’s pasta and wine galore at Michelin-recommended Storico Fresco in Buckhead. The casual, lively space makes it a great option for groups ready to relax and enjoy. Reservations online can be for up to six. For seven or more guests, you can book a table through the events coordinator.

The White Bull 

Just off Decatur Square, minutes from Atlanta and in a walkable and lively neighborhood, Michelin-recommended The White Bull offers New American dishes. The rustic, relaxed space can accommodate large parties at a long table in the dining room or on the patio. Chef Pat Pascarella and his team will make you feel right at home. They often host cooking events, so perhaps that can be incorporated into your large group experience.

Ticonderoga Club 

Michelin-recommended Ticonderoga Club is located inside Krog Street Market on the Eastside. You can make reservations for up to eight online. Larger parties can be accommodated in a reserved section of the restaurant where there is seating for up to 14. The food and drink menu is available for your party, offering your guests the option to pick their favorites from the Colonial era-inspired tavern menu, which includes seafood, sandwiches and craft cocktails.

Twisted Soul Cookhouse and Pours 

Located in Midtown, this comfortable, modern space offers soul food that provides the real Southern experience. In the beautiful, welcoming space, Michelin-recommended Twisted Soul Cookhouse and Pours can arrange private events. Reservations online are available for up to eight. Call for more options.
