Atlanta’s Neighborhoods: Curated, In-City Getaways

Beyond the Neighborhoods: Nearby Day Trips

Some attendees will want to stay in the city for the encore. Others have an extra day and a rental car, and Atlanta’s proximity to the rest of Georgia makes going further just as easy to build into a program.

A quick MARTA ride puts attendees in Decatur’s walkable square or East Point, right next to the airport. A short drive north lands in Alpharetta’s shopping districts or Cobb County, home to the Atlanta Opera. History and nature fans can explore Stone Mountain Park in DeKalb County or the Alpine village of Helen in the North Georgia mountains.
