Atlanta, GA 30342

The Cricket Celebration Bowl, owned and operated by ESPN Events, showcases the heritage, legacy, pageantry and tradition of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The annual event pits the champions of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) head-to-head against the champions of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), kicking off the college football bowl season in Atlanta each December. The Celebration Bowl delivers the full “bowl experience” for its schools, sponsors and fans, and proudly partners with the 100 Black Men of Atlanta to provide opportunities to the city’s youth. The game is surrounded by a week full of activities, including a college fair, robotics showcase and high school battle of the bands. On December 19, 2015, North Carolina A&T defeated Alcorn State 41-34 to win the inaugural event.
