Located on 3,200 acres of natural beauty, Stone Mountain Park features a wide variety of fun family activities and things to do in the Atlanta area. Amazing adventures await as you discover interactive attractions suitable for all ages: Explore a 4-story barn and Sky Hike: an adventure course in the treetops. Take a skyride to the top of Stone Mountain; ride a scenic train around the mountain; or tour the Historic Square and explore a collection of original buildings, built between 1793 and 1875. Stay at the Marriott Stone Mountain Inn or Evergreen Marriott resort, or spend the night in a yurt or your RV at the largest Georgia campground. End your day at the world’s largest laser light show featuring a fantastic fireworks finale! Private terraces and VIP Lasershow seating are also available. Stone Mountain is open year-round, but attraction hours vary by season. Check our hours of operations and events calendar for schedules on the date(s) of your visit.
During this unprecedented time, we are implementing a number of new safety measures based on the guidance of health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies. The safety and well-being of our guests and employees are our top priorities and guide our decisions. Face masks or face coverings are required in our attractions area for all visitors ages 3 and up, with some exceptions. Some of the exceptions where masks are not required are while seated to eat or drink, in our natural areas, or for children 2 and under. Physical distancing measures have been put in place including physically distanced queues, marked barriers and social distancing reminders. Additional sanitation measures have been implemented. This includes high touch point areas being cleaned more frequently and providing additional hand sanitizing locations.
Daily capacity will be limited. We recommend guests purchasing attraction passes do so in advance. Face masks or face coverings are required in our attractions area for all visitors ages 3 and up. Temperature screenings will be taken prior to entry. Additionally, you will experience limited capacity on rides and attractions as well as in certain buildings and walkways throughout the parks.
