Craft Your Next Event at these Local Breweries, Distilleries and More

You might know about a few of our local Atlanta breweries that produce bold, unique flavors of beer, but did you know that many of these spots can double as laid-back, one-of-a-kind destinations for your group? Our Atlanta brewing scene doesn’t just include beer, either. Atlanta is proud to keep distilleries and even a cidery in our repertoire. They can host a truly memorable event. Check out these suggestions and drink in all the possibilities.
SweetWater Brewing Company

One of the original Atlanta breweries, SweetWater Brewing Co. in south Buckhead is well-known on the beer scene with its famous moniker “Don’t Float the Mainstream!” Whether you’re looking for an upbeat evening with brews and tunes in the Reel Room (up to 450 guests) or a VIP tasting experience in the Tasting Room, SweetWater’s event spaces can accommodate just about anything you want to create. For an event that truly rocks, the newly renovated Taproom and Patio is both indoor and outdoor with a stage. Supply your people with plenty of SweetWater brews featuring year-round selections like the favorite SweetWater 420 IPA and the limited edition Catch and Release series.
Bold Monk Brewing Co.

Need to add a taste of Europe to your agenda? Make a pilgrimage to this Westside brewpub inspired by Belgium’s monasteries. Order up Belgian brews and let your attendees relax in this eclectic space full of otherworldly options. Guests can relax and mingle at Bold Monk in the 4,000-square-foot European-style beer garden with live music. Up to 150 attendees can gather in the Salon for cocktails among custom alabaster tables and walls full of art. Pick the Abbey for your meeting, decorated with expansive lounge seating, Mondrian-influenced glass and incredible acoustics. The more intimate Cask Room features four American oak foeders and shared tables.
UrbanTree Cidery

All this beer might make you wish for another sort of adult beverage like a crisp, crafted hard cider. The family-owned, 4,500-square-foot UrbanTree Cidery in the Westside area has plenty of space for guests to move in this farm-inspired industrial space. Add a cider tasting to your special evening. Order flights or cider cocktails made with Georgia-grown spirits. From the medium-bodied Sweet Heat Haze to the full-bodied Harvest Apple, the drinks will ensure your guests have a refreshing time.

ASW Distillery

With three locations around the Atlanta area and private event space in each, ASW Distillery will keep your group in high spirits. In the West End, ASW Distillery’s whiskey tasting room might fit the bill for your event, flanked with barrel tables, a bar and Scrabble board wall. The south Buckhead location offers a tasting room as well (up to 75) and the Investor’s Lounge is perfect for straight pours and mixed cocktails. Knock your event out of the park at ASW’s third location, The Battery Atlanta next to Truist Park with the Atlanta Braves-themed Alley room. America’s most awarded craft whiskey distillery will surely impress your guests with whiskey bottles sporting custom labels, a spirited take-home souvenir.

Wild Heaven West End Brewery and Gardens

At Wild Heaven West End, attendees can sample the signature ATL Style Easy Ale or a Sunburst IPA inspired by the traditions of Europe out in the brewery’s beer garden. For something larger, consider hosting your party at the Garden Club inside Wild Heaven, a live music venue with a capacity of 450 guests. From an indoor reception to outdoor communal seating right next to the Westside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine under twinkling lights, Wild Heaven will ensure the party will stay upbeat and lively.
Monday Night Brewing

The laid-back atmosphere of Monday Night Brewing is infectious, promising a relaxed event with two locations on the Westside. Monday Night West Midtown (the brewhouse facility) on Trabert Avenue has the Rooftop with 500 square feet of space on repurposed shipping containers, hidden in the trees. The tiki-themed Hop Hut Bar has a private bar and plenty of tropical atmosphere for guests to take in Monday Night’s Death Raptor killer IPA or Taco Tuesday Mexican Lager.

Located in the Lee + White development in West End, Monday Night Brewing Garage is where all the experimentation happens, along with a space for creating barrel-aged sour beers. The Chandelier Room deck adds an industrial chic vibe to the party. Or, check out the Courtyard with 4,500 square feet of green space and biergarten tables; the Hop Hut Bar, Sunroom Suite and, if you want to be exclusive, the VIP Bar. It’s located directly on the Westside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine, offering prime people watching.
New Realm Brewing Company

At New Realm Brewing Company, host your event on a rooftop patio, inside or on the catwalk. Discover this hop-filled brewing destination in the Old Fourth Ward, located on the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine. New Realm’s rooftop patio makes it a favorite for locals, and you can reserve this exclusive space for brews and stunning skyline views. Other spaces include the Beer Garden, a covered patio and the main dining hall, which can host up to 200. Or, have your attendees walk the catwalk, in a manner of speaking, by reserving the Mosaic Room and the Brewhouse Catwalks with views directly into the brewhouse.

Atlanta Beer Bus
