Safety Measures
Atlanta Contemporary takes your health seriously. That’s why we have made significant upgrades to our HVAC system. We are now using bi-polar ionization technology, which is a type of air purification that uses voltage to generate electrically charged particles with extra electrons. These particles fall to the ground and become inert, eliminating their ability to cause harm. This technology works on viruses and bacteria in the air stream. We did this to keep you - and your loved ones - safe and healthy. We look forward to welcoming you back into the galleries.
New Hours: Sunday:12 pm— 4 pm Monday: Closed Tuesday- Saturday: 12 pm— 5 pm For your safety and ours, all guests and Members must have a timed ticket or reservation. A limited number of visitors will be admitted every hour. Stay tuned to register for August dates, including the opening of She Is Here on August 22 and 23, 2020. All Visitors are required to wear a mask. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2. Visitors are expected to follow health guidelines on social distancing, maintaining at least 6 feet apart at all times. Atlanta Contemporary has designated maximum capacity for the galleries and project spaces as well as indicated traffic flow. All staff and volunteers will be wearing masks, and hand sanitation is located throughout the galleries. SHOP chairs have been removed for the safety of our guests. As of now, we will not provide complimentary coffee from our in-kind sponsor Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters.
